Apple’s October 4 “Let’s talk iPhone” event

Apple’s latest media event is taking place a little later than usual this year, but the day is nearly upon us. On Tuesday, October 4, Apple CEO Tim Cook plans to discuss the iPhone, as evidenced by the invitation sent to the press. Whether the company also plans to talk about its iPod, Apple TV, and iTunes offerings still remains unanswered, but it seems likely that Apple will try to roll those traditional fall announcements into this event.
