With the recent floods in Thailand the price of hard drives have sky rocketed. With almost a 2-3x price increase a hard drive that use to cost around $70 is now over $200. If you’re looking at upgrading or adding hard drives to you system I suggest to wait until prices drop back to normal. If you can’t wait I suggest buying local in hopes of a good deal or browse eBay in hopes of finding one that hasn’t increased in price.
